Youth support that really fits
In Holland Rijnland and far beyond. See the areas we cover →
Are you worried about your child? Arguments that keep getting worse, school that no longer works, friends you do not trust, or help that stopped earlier without any result. You do not have to work this out alone. Our support workers know the world young people live in, including the street. Together we look at what fits: at home, at school or both.
Urgent? See who you can call right now →Recognising one sentence is reason enough to call
You may call even without a referral: 071 - 234 01 32, on working days from 9:00 to 17:00. We think along with you and explain how it works after that. Cannot call during the day? Leave your number through the contact form and we will call you at a time that suits you.
Outreach youth support
Support at home, at school or in another familiar place, for young people with, among other things, behavioural or school problems, autism, ADHD or attachment problems.
Parenting support for parents
Practical support with parenting questions, boundaries and structure, in your own language and your own world.
Hulp op School (HOS, support at school) & coaching
For pupils who get stuck because of concentration, motivation, authority, arguments or bullying. The coach or support worker helps inside and outside the classroom. As an HOS provider, Youth Turn already works in secondary schools.
One-to-one daytime activities
For young people for whom ordinary outreach support is not enough right now. Their own support worker and a daily programme that fits.
Together with your network
We involve parents, school and the local team. We work according to the Meldcode (the national reporting code for domestic violence and child abuse), with our own designated officer: a careful step-by-step plan for when we are worried about safety. We always discuss that with you first.
We work with the whole family
Problems almost never stand on their own. Home, school, friends and family all play a part. That is why we work systemically and contextually. That means: we look at the young person and at everything around them, and we involve the family in the support.
Sometimes change cannot be reached through the young person directly. Certainly not when they already hear all day long what is going wrong. Parenting support then offers another way in: parents work on their own goals around the child, within the family. That way change still gets going.

When living at home is under pressure
Sometimes more is needed than support alone. That is exactly where we make the difference, with help that takes the whole family along.
Supervised parent-child contact
Professionally supervised contact between parent(s) and child (supervised contact or visits). Safe, calm and well prepared, with attention for the parent and for the child.
Preventing out-of-home placement
Is living at home under pressure? We work intensively with the whole family, at home, where it happens, so that your child can keep living at home when that is safe.
Coming back home
Has your child been placed out of home? We support you step by step towards a safe return home, in close consultation with everyone involved.
Good to know
Who it is for
For young people up to the age of 18. For example with problems with behaviour, school, autism, ADHD, ADD, ODD (defiant and oppositional behaviour) or attachment. Also when working on independence or after an out-of-home placement. Sometimes the support can continue up to the age of 23. That is called verlengde jeugdhulp (extended youth support) and the municipality decides about it.
Are you almost 18? Then, together with you, your parents and the municipality, we prepare the move to adult care, so that the support does not suddenly stop.
Referral & funding
This support falls under the Jeugdwet (the Dutch Youth Act): the municipality pays for the support and you pay nothing yourself. A referral can come from the youth team or neighbourhood team of your municipality, from your GP (family doctor), a youth health doctor or a medical specialist, or from a child protection worker. Do you have a pgb (personal care budget), or do you want to pay for the support yourself? Then it can also be done without a referral. Call us and we will explain the route. Do you live somewhere else? Just call us and we will find out together what is possible. See all the areas we cover →
Waiting time
We are taking on new clients. How quickly we can start depends on the agreements with your municipality at that moment; your referrer knows which route fits and we think along. Call us and you will hear straight away where you stand: 071 - 234 01 32.
